Starting with your active tank selected, update the total fuel consumed across both tanks (as indicated on by the engine management system, or as estimated), then switch tanks to the tank you will use next. Update total consumption before switching tanks.
Use the fuel planner to figure out the optimal points to switch, so that you land with your fuel tanks balanced.
